1. What a bid buys
- A bid purchases immediate leaderboard placement and participation in Season 1 (ending 31 December 2026). No goods, no services, no share of any fund. Placement may change as others bid — position is not guaranteed beyond current standings.
- All bids are final and non-refundable. By bidding you agree that placement is provided immediately and you waive the 14-day cancellation right (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
- The top backer slot per country displays the highest customer bidder's handle, link and tagline. We may remove handles, links or taglines that are unlawful, hateful, misleading or infringing, without refund.
2. The charity pledge
- 5% of net bid revenue is set aside monthly in a designated fund and donated in full by 31 January 2027 to a registered charity serving the winning country. The charity is announced at season end; the donation receipt will be published on the transparency page.
- "Net bid revenue" means all bid payments received from participants, excluding bids or pledges placed by Kael Tripton Ltd or its operators, and net of payment-processing fees and refunds.
- In addition, Kael Tripton Ltd pledges $100 per activated country (a country is activated by its first customer bid) to the same fund.
- If Season 1 is discontinued early for any reason, the accrued fund is donated at that point to a UK-registered charity, receipt published.
3. Competition mechanics
- Weekly charts run Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59 UTC, ranked by customer bid totals per country. Weekly top 10 earn points: 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1 — doubled for the final two weekly results of December 2026.
- The country with the most cumulative points at 31 December 2026 is the Season 1 champion. Ties are broken by total season pot.
- Not gambling: placement and results are determined solely by amounts bid. No element of chance, no draws, no random rewards.
- House entries are tagged on the board, never occupy a top-backer slot, and are excluded from the 5% calculation.
4. Countries
- Country listings follow the ISO 3166 standard plus territories with widely recognised codes. Jurisdictions subject to comprehensive international sanctions are not listed. Listing implies no political position by Kael Tripton Ltd. This contest is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government.
5. General
- We may amend these terms for legal or operational reasons; material changes will be posted on this page. English law governs; courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction.
